Hailing from Château d'Escot—a historic estate in the Northern Médoc with origins dating back to the 18th century—"Escot Forest" (often crafted under the estate's Cru Bourgeois pedigree) is a classic expression of Left Bank Bordeaux. Situated near the Gironde estuary on well-drained gravel and clay terraces, the vineyard benefits from maritime breezes that foster a long, even ripening season. 🍇🏰
The celebrated 2020 vintage was exceptional in Bordeaux, producing wines with remarkable depth, ripe tannins, and vibrant acidity. A traditional blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon and rounded out with Merlot and Petit Verdot, it pours a deep, opaque purple-ruby. It opens with assertive aromas of crushed cassis, ripe black cherries, and cedarwood, layered with notes of wild forest floor, pencil lead, and sweet baking spice from French oak aging. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied with structured, fine-grained tannins and a rich, dark-fruit core that finishes long, savory, and dry. If you find that your order has only been partially delivered, this may be because other items are being dispatched from a different location or we were out of stock on part of your order. Returned free of charge at any Cavavin store. The card used in the transaction will be refunded, our stores will not be able to refund orders with cash. It will take 7 days for your refund to be processed.
Returned goods must be in re-saleable condition with labels intact. When returning a set of products e.g.. a mixed case or gift box, all products must be present with the set complete. When posting returns, suitable packaging must be used to ensure save delivery. We suggest you retain your original delivery packing for this purpose.
